I’m not sure what this one is.  The closest flower I can come up with is Mountain Bog Gentian (Gentiana calycosa), but according to my book, those are only 4-8 inches tall, while this was about  three feet.  It’s a mystery! [update: Through the miracle that is the internet, I have learned that this is Gentiana sceptrum (King's Scepter Gentian).  Thank you Marcy and Allen!]
