According to the park volunteers they were all killed off in 1995 by some local school district that dropped 1500 kids off and allowed them to pull every single one off the rocks (and play Frisbee with them &etc). Twelve years later the population still hasn’t recovered, although they said that divers have found a couple in deeper water. It makes me feel absolutely sick to think of all those poor creatures destroyed like that, it’ll be at least another twenty years probably before they recover. Why on earth do we entrust the education of our children to people who are that effing stupid?
